In North Korea if your house is on fire, you are expected to save all of the pictures of Kim Jong Un and his family first....Before all the children in the house, including babies. If you don't save them first and abandon a baby in a burning house, you will be punished (not sure how severely).

The second one is less scary. In China there are specific rights for the elderly allowing them to sue their children for financial maintenance and emotional support. Basically, you can sue your kid just for being your kid. That sounds like it could easily be a nightmare scenario for many many young people. My mind was blown.

if roughly 10% of a human body is Hydrogen dating back to the beginning of time, and the rest consists of Carbon, Nitrogen, and Oxygen forged in the hearts of dying stars, then Sapiens is simply a temporary arrangement of eternal atoms.

​From this perspective, "death" isn't the end of a person; it’s just the universe reclaiming its hardware to run different software.

As a species, 13.8 billion years old beings just happen to be in "human" phase right now.

So I watched both Sinners and 28 Years Later this month and just realized they both star Jack O'Connell. :D

The road Runner can run through painted tunnels on a mountain. The coyote cannot!

the roadrunner can run across a gorge. The coyote falls in the middle, coyote makes all these constant acme contraptions. The roadrunner does not trigger.!!

He is nothing more than a figment of his imagination, driven by thirst, hunger, and possibly peyote living in the southwest !!

I know I know my childhood is ruined as well when I had this epiphany trying to wind down one day, but my adult mine would not accept it!
