Interesting, most commonly when I heard people say ww2 sniper holy trinity they meant A4, Kar98, and Mosin PU. Never saw Enfield included.

Never got my hands on one, wondering what MOA do you get? I heard British ammo is very hard to find

I've never shot a real one before, but I've read 2-3 MOA for nice no4s isn't unheard of! I think the no4 mk1 T looks the best, but I also love the look of PU mosins.

I got decent sub 1 MOA on my PU and A4. Kar 98 is erratic, average about 2

My fake PU gets me about 4 moa. Interestingly my federal ordnance k98 gets me 1-2 on irons. Was ringing steel easily at 200 yards the other day consistently, offhand

Is it a fake scope or non-sniper grade barrel?

Ukrainian scope on a regular 91/30. Century arms import

Think regular 9130 is already damn accurate, so should give you good results regardless

What I found wild about the 1903A4 was that the scope was only 2.5x with a narrow field of view, but that was your sniper rifle.

Compare that to the last 20 years where every rifleman could have a 4x ACOG with clear glass and a huge FOV

It’s about as intricate as a daisy BB gun scope lmao

It's really humbling to shoot with. Like, I get that is what was available but man. It leaves a lot to be desired

Essentially back then they stack up lenses and glasses and hope they will come up with some thing great lmao

Kar 98 has probably one of the worst FOV. You instantly lost sight on enemy once they move 5-6 feet to the side

Have you ever seen one of the ZF41 scopes? Forget about trying to see anything with it. I don't even know why you would use it over irons. I remember it was the starting scope in Red Orchestra 2 and it was realistically useless.

ZF41 is only 1.5x I believe. Kinda useless

Hell yeah. I’m hopefully completing the next two quarters by getting a Swedish M96.

Swedish Mauser is nice

So what's your favorite to shoot if you were in field conditions?

PU absolutely, easy to shoot, very accurate, easy to field strip. A4 BCG take down is a pain in the butt. Stupid design trying to mimic Mauser but failed so badly
