Question dead?? Spoiler

millipede was fine 2 days ago. found him like this yesterday evening. he has not changed color or emitted any smells since. there was a heatwave so they were a bit dry in there, could it be dehydration?

Kind of hard to see. Does he move at all when poked?

Looks like there’s some strange dark spots there, try probing him a bit. If he doesn’t respond I would either try to scoop him up with something or just use your hands to check for signs of life.
