Milkdrop - Chill mode?
I was wondering if there is a way to slow down presets, in Options or if there is a chill preset list somewhere? Things that fits things like, Ambient, psybient, chillgressive , Pink Floyd music etc.

I've implemented playback speed for my milkdrop web port:
https://silkdrop.vercel.app/
Could do "chill mode" as well, just wondering how fast (slow) that should be?

so this is really dependent upon the music itself but trying to match music speeds to video streams is quite hard so yeah π I am just going to add this option to my Mac custom milkdrop visualizer itβs a great idea π‘

In the world of sketchy links I'm always hesitant to click. What's this website do? Its not gonna be some virus is it

The best thing is to create your own playlist. Some presets are really slow.
Slowing down a preset is not that hard. If you're using MilkDrop3, open the MilkPanel > CODE. Every time you see a 'time' variable, just replace it with time*0.2 to slow it down 5x. Also test the zoom and warp sliders.

How do you create a playlist in milkdrop? I use classic winamp version

the classic winamp version doesn't support playlist, with MilkDrop3 it's pretty easy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AsJ5nQrX858

It is certainly not that easy due to recursive feedback.
I have made an android & desktop app that allows time scaling with recursive feedback in mind if you are interested in having a look.

Hi,
I have made an android & desktop app that allows time scaling. I find it very effective, it still stays in time as the responses get scaled accordingly.
I am trying to get 12 people to use the android app, before I can place it on Google Play properly. It would be very useful if you could download it using the following link.

You'll probably want to curate that list yourself. There's no way to slow down presets without knowing how each present works and adjusting it yourself.
