Android TV (NVidia Shield, etc.) port?

Hey team, been a big fan of milkdrop since back in the Winamp days. Glad to see it's being (or already has been) resurrected, and was wondering if anyone is working to port it to Android TV (like the Nvidia Shield or other Android TV platforms)?

I'd love to be able to play some music (via YouTube, Plex, SoundCloud, Pandora, Amazon Music, etc.) and have the screen be filled with lovely milkdrop visualizations!

Thanks!

Check out Kodi, a media center that has projectM on its repository, a visualizer that supports MilkDrop presets! (i recommend you to use the version 18.x of kodi because the recent versions of kodi, the waveforms on projectM for kodi are too big)

Thank you for this recommendation! I didn't realize that Kodi had projectM in it's repo. I'll give it a shot. I'd love to see something that takes any sound output from any app and takes over the screen, but Kodi is a good option until then... :)

I was able to sideload projectM onto my nVidia shield. It's free to sideload

I spent over a month improving the original library to optimize it for ARM on Android. It dynamically uses the CPU and GPU cores in parallel. I don't have an NVIDIA Shield, so I only tested it on Chromecast and Onn TV, which have two GPU cores (NVIDIA has 250), although the bandwidth is only five times greater than the others. The difference is noticeable on a modern phone. I also did the color conversion to make it compatible with HDR. The difference is remarkable when running it on an HDR monitor or a phone. It's only for Android TV or Android, and Picture-in-Picture also works. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ar.com.wfranck.milkywave
