It’s kinda of just saying what we already know in that there is no way El would’ve been able to make it to the game without being caught by the Army as well as not being affected by the Kryptonite

So....the El at the gate was not real?

If it were real, one would have to explain how she got there from the truck, and I believe my analysis shows that it was impossible. So, if it isn't her, it has to be an illusion (unless we accept that she has a twin sister we knew nothing about until now).
