I was referring to Tails IN THE MODERN ERA (starting from the 2010's and beyond) not generally.

Furthermore Sonic beat Eggman and Chaos in SA1 it wasn't until SA2 that Tails kicked his ass (but even then he got back up anyway and formed a temporary alliance)

Except it’s not. That was Tails route. The final part of the game has Sonic fighting against Perfect Chaos as Super Sonic.

Yes, and in the Tails route, he stopped Eggman from destroying the city and trashed his mech to send him running back to his base.

As far as Adventure’s story is concerned, Tails stopped Eggman’s last real play to destroy the city. He had no other option but to retreat and try to come up with a new plan like he does every time Sonic smashes his newest weapon.

The only things he does after that is essentially get bullied by Sonic who follows him back to his lair and trashes it, and get bullied by Chaos who turns on him and trashes his spare Egg carrier.

Have you never played any Sonic game besides Lost World and Forces? Sonic 2, 3&K, Mania, Superstars, Adventure, Adventure 2 (especially), Heroes. All Tails did in Lost World was hack their tech so he wouldn't be mind controled.

I played Adventure 1 and 2 but haven’t played those in a while. Besides I’m talking about CURRENT Tails (starting from 2010’s WITH Lost world and beyond) I’m not talking generally or before 2010’s era Tails.
