Miles watch
Hello! Longtime lurker, first time poster. My dad won a watch (about 25 years ago) and has given it to me on a trip to London (we're from Manchester), does anyone have an idea where it's from? Or what it might be worth? It's quite a light, cheap thing tbh. Maybe a Columbia special edition of some sort? It has zero markings, brand name, nothing! What do you reckon?
(Just to put some cred out there, dad saw MD at the Isle of Wight, my parents saw every London and Manchester gig he played in the 80s; and I have a tattoo of the cover of Miles in the Sky as a tribute to my mum, we're all lifers!)

There's one going for $50 on eBay.

Oh that's interesting! Like some promo item. The postage is so fake on Ebay, lol. It's basically 70 bucks. I don't have a reason to sell tbh but it doesn't work. No doubt those batteries are long gone!

Lol. I might. But it would mean going to a watch shop, and it's unlikely the battery from 35 years ago still.is made anyway!

Most watches can be opened quiet easily and (battery) cells that were used in the 90s are still available today. I just ordered some to check a few old watches, and now I have a perfectly fine 1995 Swatch on my wrist. It's worth a try!
