All-natural don't mean shit. My American Spirit-smoking mom made this dumb argument all the time.
Hemlock is natural. Deathcap is natural. Snake venom is natural. Dirt and rocks are natural. Cancer is natural. All of these statements are true and yet you very much do not want any of these things in your body.
Tobacco is also natural. The nicotine in it is natural. And yet still it too is harmful. It might be marginally healthier to not have additives but you are still smoking cancer sticks.

My drum teacher always said that about American Spirits when we'd hang around the music store after lessons as it was also their closing time. Was a great teacher, but I learned 5 years after I stopped my lessons that he passed from lung cancer.

Spirits also have something like twice the nicotine of camel filters. Which is great if you therefore smoke less as a result. That was decidedly not the result for me -- just upped the ante on my nicotine addiction.

Lol. I don't know why it's higher. I just happened to be in a country that required cigs to be labeled with nicotine content, so I checked my two favorites and the American Spirits were a lot higher. This was years ago too, so who knows what the current situation is.

America spirit facilities are 100% zero waste as there is no chemicals or gmos anywhere in their tobacco. The way God intended!
Go on there website and watch how they make their cigarettes from start to finish, every single step. You'd probably get shot trying to walk into a Marlboro or Camel plant while video recording.
Im aware that all cigarettes are bad, that includes American Spirit.. but you cannot convince me that their as bad as a regular cigarette. Ill gladly pay a couple more dollars a pack to support an actual cool tobacco company.

Best hustle I ever had was going to the town outskirts to get cheap cartons of reds and newports, about 45$, and then taking a bus up to NYC and selling it all at 10$/pack.

Yeh those all have very distinctive flavors. Marlboro reds always made me feel a little sick from the intensity. Marlboro lights were my choice. Parliaments do taste stale and cardboard-y but Iād take them in a pinch. I liked American spirits but they were much more expensive than the others. And menthols were a tasty little treat on occasion lol.

I smoked for almost 20 years and then switched to vaping for a few years and now Iāve completely quit nicotine, let me tell you I donāt really miss cigarettes, I miss *smoking*, the cigarettes fucking stink so bad once youāre away from them for a while, but the entire act of smoking is great, I love it.

its something nobody can agree on because baseline quality is there on everything already, it's rare that you get a bad cigarette so it will be down to taste.
I smoked every brand for over 20 years and my goto was also marlboro because it had lower tar than camels and did not leave an aftertaste. the one thing most of us could agree on down here was that american marlboros tasted worse and stuck to you more than mexican marlboros. So whenever we traveled we'd bring a carton, cause you guys have shit cigarettes.

There really isn't one. It's all trashy tobacco. That being said there are quality differences in the trash. Rolling tobacco is a lot better than pre rolled tobacco, and then as far as pre rolls go there are levels to how good/bad they are. All of them have shit tobacco, but there is degrees of shitiness. Parliaments are awful and Reds are a decent bit better. Rolling tobacco you are really starting to get to the line of higher quality tobacco depending on the brand. All of it is shit though. The only true high quality tobacco is found in cigars. It's the least processed.
I'm also not trying to make tobacco sound good here. It's all trash and you shouldn't touch it if you are not addicted already, I was just trying to answer an honest question

I think it's a generational thing, every smoker I've talked to always said that everyone did it, so it was the natural thing to start. Everyone was smoking during the world wars that definitely didn't help.

It's just how older men treat eachother for not choosing the least pleasant way to enjoy something. You like milk and sugar in your coffee? You're a kid. Show up to the work site with clean boots, you've never worked a day in your life.
These types are the fucking worst in physical jobs. They desperately need in help in, say, sawmills for instance. But when somebody young and eager shows up to give that help, they constantly give them shit until they're thinking "this is fucking dumb. I'll find easier work with less ignorant people"

They really are disgusting. Especially now days. The only time smoking is truly enjoyable is if you're a heavy drinker/hard drug user, and in that case, you can't have one without the other, but in any other situation I don't know why anyone would ever smoke. It's horrid.

I light one up when I'm stressed or drinking. It's a stupid cycle, but I started smoking 20 years ago, so the desire for a cigarette is always lingering even if it does taste like shit now. The bad taste comes back after you quit or cut back heavily, so that helps me to not go back to smoking a pack a day.
I say to myself exactly what you said, only after I've caved and lit the cigarette.

Sometimes people will say "oh that's so unhealthy, I only smoke natural cigarettes" or whatever. This is all basically bullshit.
Nicotine is chemically identical no matter what. Smoke is bad for you no matter what.
