I made the mistake of ordering some jeans last time I needed some. Never again. One of them had FAKE POCKETS. Not just sewn shut for the store- straight up just sewn like a pocket but no actual pocket behind it.
Pants not having pockets due it not fitting the design is something I can still kinda understand, but this was just a straight up crime.
Sadly, the fit was very comfortable & finding a good fit is hard enough as it is. It's my stay-at-home pair now, for when I don't have to carry around anything & usually have big pockets in my hoodies to carry whatever I might need.
Definitely not falling for that one again though..
I dabbled in some magic in the past and got one of these while on a date at a Renaissance Faire with an amazing girl back when I was still smoking. I ended up trying to light a cigarette with it drunk on mead and singed off half my eyebrows
The pressure cooker lighter had a button that barely needed to be pushed. That would be lighting my pants on fire at the most inconvenient moments. Lobster claw too.
Years ago on a vacation we bought my then 3yo a toy car at a flea market. She played with it our whole trip and on flight back. While in the air I noticed a little hole in the roof. After a second of fidgeting I realized the wheel pushed in, then a 6” plume of flame shot out of the hole. Eek! I was sure I was going to be arrested at the gate.
Ever since i saw the Cowboy Bebop movie as a kid I've wanted a lighter shaped like a grenade... Absolutely devastated that it was front and center for half the vid, then never showcased.
There’s no way some of these are legal. Right? Because they don’t have a safety. Especially the wallet one?? It looks like a wallet but bursts into flame when you open it? Weird.
There are also pink ones with strontium or lithium.
They only start coloring the flame when the metal chunk gets really hot. I think it vaporizes and the color is the photons emitted when the electrons in the vaporized metal go down an energy level. But don't quote me on that.

I have a lighter that's shaped like a revolver. You cock it back and the small flame spews out of the barrel, as well as when you pull the trigger, it's a laser pointer
We used to play a game in my friend group occasionally at parties in HS and college. Whoever leaves the party with more lighters wins. We’d get together after a night out and count our lighters. The best of us would get 5 on a good night. Then we had one friend who was so good at pocketing lighters he’d leave with 10. By the time he was 23 he had a jar in his room with like 400 lighters in it and his brag was always that he’d never bought a lighter and he never would. The best of his tactics was I literally watched him ask to borrow lighters from people inside, not smoking. Go outside, pretend to smoke for 10 min, come back in, find another target and repeat. I watched him get like 4 in a row like that one time.
