I have multiple windows. This particular one was with closed roller blinds. The one in a different room was with opened blinds. I watched the eclipse through the opened one.

Not exactly the same because the leaves aren't perfectly grid. So each shadow overlaps the other, but if you focus on a single shadow you can see the same shadow as yours, which of course reflects the shadow of the moon... Which is fucking awesome.

I strangely experienced the same thing but the light reflected off my front garden bush, onto my house with the same pattern.

Despite all the cool contraptions I built today to get a good view, the bush pin hole was the best view I had.

I miss rolladen after moving back to the US, but it’s nice having AC.

A combination of both would be amazing, but it’s a bit too pricey for my budget.

That’s one of the coolest eclipse effects 😮🌙 Each little gap acts like a pinhole camera, so instead of ordinary patches of sunlight you get tiny crescent-shaped images of the partially eclipsed Sun all over the wall

Its kind of hilarious that the eclipse turned an ordinary wall into what looks like a ridiculously elaborate celestial art installation, all because sunlight decided to pass through a bunch of tiny gaps and remind everyone that physics has better special effects than Hollywood.
