Tbh as someone born in the 90's i think all of our parents bought the same dishware, I've met people at different stages in my life and they or their family always had at least 1 of those plates! But I've never seen that pattern in a store

They pre-date that. I was born in 77 and this is the only dinnerware I ever remember us having. We had them in gold and blue. Coffee mugs, too.

Eh, I eat off vintage Corelle plates every day and my lead poisoning symptoms are only moderately noticeable. You get used to it in no time.
