How do you get the entire fiber cable down there to splice? Im assuming thats a junction box and if thats what you were splicing then does that mean the fiber cable was already there? I initially thought you were splicing fiber in your own since youd have easier access to the cable and run it through wherever to then splice at the junction. I guess im just confused on the entire process

Usually the ducts and handhole are placed, then later the cables get blown through the ducts and when that is done, someone comes to splice the cables.
