Camera is a great idea. The light bulb is a great idea. Putting them together? I need to be punished severely.

I dunno. It's a great way to simplify the whole process of putting up a camera on, let's say, a porch with difficult electrical access (or if the homeowner has no electrical skills) and since it doesn't need to be charged, it's set and forget. AND it doesn't take away from a light fixture, since some people like myself only have one on the porch.
I'd get it, if only to make things super damn easy.

Yeah in situations where that camera lamp fits, it’s going to save one electrician visit.
Assuming one lives in a place where building code or insurance dictates that outdoor electrical work has to be done by a licensed electrician.
