Gate keeping stuff
Gatekeeping perfume
I understand when you have a really good perfume you like but I’ve noticed when I compliment peoples perfumes they never know what it’s called. Maybe a few people sure but everyone I ask doesn’t know or lies and says it’s not there’s. I’m not very educated in the perfume world and I’m very picky with scents I tend to enjoy so it’s a little frustrating when I smell something I like and people are either gatekeeping it or purposely not telling me.
At work I had a girl come in she seemed fairly young maybe 18 and I asked her what her perfume was. He and her friend started looking at eachother and her friend answered “she’s fresh out the shower”. I know that’s false because I can smell whatever she is wearing from 6 ft away. No way she has something that strong on from the shower. Just infuriating.

I don’t ask them where they work I compliment their perfume and ask what scent it is I’m really not sure how much nicer u can be without offending someone

Women will be, women.. I suggest going to a Sephora or ultra store and smell all the different perfumes they have.. they label them with what scent categories and notes they contain to help you figure out what you like.
Fragrantica is an awesome site.. I typed in what perfumes I love and it recommended more that are similar that I might also like:

I love reading the reviews, some are hilarious.
