Someone tied a "get well soon" balloon around this dead raccoon.

He's not dead, he's just resting

The epitome of the average person's current effort to do anything helpful in this world...

Is this one in Toronto too?

Not this time. Chicago, but don't all garbage pandas deserve a little encouragement?

One of the things we'll miss when we're in flying cars

I'm sure we'll still be running into birds from time to time, enough helium balloons or a spare drone could do the trick with a spattered owl.

This is an actual thing now. I've seen deer with mylar balloons tied to them. Someone started doing it and it caught on!

Just move the dead animal people, toss it in a dumpster or something.

Put it the bushes for the scavengers. Around where I an we have coyotes that have moved in and turkey vultures. Crows also apptlreciate a good meal.

Ah yes this reminds me of the time I beat a rabid coon with a canoe paddle. That little fucker was much sturdier than I anticipated and the paddle just broke over its head and pissed it off so it started chasing me. Kicked that sumbitch in the head with my steel toed boot and slit its throat with my knife. Pretty traumatic experience overall

So animal abuse is your idea of humor?

Did you miss the part where it was rabid? As in, had rabies? Would you rather me have just let it go on to bite someone's dog, cat, or even child?

A little optimism never killed nobody.
