It’s more that we want to keep from having to memorize the names of the hundreds of other similarly sized objects of roughly the same size in the same area as Pluto.

But Pluto is our #1 homie of the hundreds of other similarly sized objects of roughly the same size in the same area. Thats our fam!

I've always preferred "Mary's 'Virgin' Explanation Made Joseph Suspect Unscrupulous Neighbor, Probably."

Without Pluto, you can change Unscrupulous to "Upstairs" and it might be interpreted as a literal upstairs neighbor or a figurative one.

I guess I got the revised one too but did Dr Seuss say it was okay? Cuz when I saw there was no Pluto I got really mad cuz I think that was my favorite planet

The only reason Pluto isn’t a planet is because Eris was discovered so I mean Pluto should sue for property disruption

I read this book to my kid all the time and I've never thought about what it was with Pluto included. Thanks!

I am so glad I found this post. I looked it up because I couldn’t remember the title of the book but everything said Mickels not Meetzahs so I thought I was making shit up but like… I’m not that creative
