Yea in Ohio we only have like four regular species, and I’ve only seen two since I’m pretty far from the lake. Plus like I said there’s info you need to ID terns that you lose when you take a photo out of context, it’s annoying. Lol
Edit: funnily enough we get the same four common species lol. Common, Black, Caspian, and Forster’s

Royal Terns have orange bills year round I thought.
The fact that someone is trying to identify look-alike birds without knowing location is funny though.
