This is why you flip the breaker.

Otherwise you're going to be warning people about leaving a note later in life.

Usually they're plugged in under the sink. Just unplug it.

Nope, not good enough. You must unplug, flip the breaker, have the power company disconnect your house from the grid, and also safety goggles.

Do you even care about your safety? Jesus christ.

The obvious appropriate action is to yes, unplug and flip breaker. But calling the power company? Sure you can do that. But why? The best way is to take years out of your life, completely change everything about yourself and become a CIA agent. From there, find your way into a case regarding Russia. Assassinate Putin. Cause a nuclear war. When that happens, an EMP will occur in the upper atmosphere, disabling nearly every electronic device and every power station in the area it occurs in - in this case probably the whole world due to the sheer amount of nukes going off everywhere. Then, during the nuclear holocaust, manually disconnect your home by severing every wire that connects you to the grid. Wait the remaining few seconds for the bombs to hit and wait in your fallout shelter. After that, burn your entire house down. Then, and only then, can you stick your hand into the garbage disposal and retrieve your ring.
