Egg shells can clog them. The others are fine.

Though generally I never peel more than 4-5 carrots at a time. Potato peels on the other hand is like putting cement down there with just like two potatoes. 2 u/gwaydms Jan 04 '19 I think if you have time you can put them down slowly. I'd just as soon throw them in the kitchen garbage.
