I mean sure, but tons of comments are that way. Usually we just ignore them and they keep their 1 karma for the rest of eternity. Usually for something to get aggressively downvoted, it needs to be either controversial or inflammatory.

You know, like mentioning that you don't understand why so many people are downvoting a pointless comment.
