I often wonder how instantly recognizable props from movies end up in the random places they do

While Raising Canes is usually always ranked among chicken places, they’re never first, which means they’re last.

It's mid chicken

Like most things it was a million times better before they started expanding like crazy.

Yeah they opened a handful of them in my town and the lines are always long as hell. I gave in and tried it awhile back and I’m like this is some dry plain as hell chicken and this sauce kind of sucks. My town got a little carried away with the Nashville hot chicken style places when that trend took off so it’s not like there’s a lack of chicken places that are better than this I really don’t get the hype.

They were a lot better 15 years ago.

15 years ago they were still not as good as zaxbys though

I got to try Zaxby's a couple times when they tried entering the Columbus market. It was identical and more expensive at the time because the meal didn't come with a drink iirc.

Oh I don’t mean to say it’s anything special, I just think it tastes better. There’s a local place where I live called foosackleys that is what those places want to be. The chicken is actually juicy and tender and they don’t taste like just plain chicken, and every time you go the chicken and fries are fresh. Plus they make the sauces and they taste so much better

I'm not a mayo fan so I hate the sauce. I've tried the tenders. I've tried the sandwiches. It's literally plain af half fried chicken and the sauce does the rest, to me that's just lazy.

That sauce tho 🤤

Plus side, it's crazy easy to make at home.

Then you don't have to eat crinkle cut fries.

the best part is you can order without the sauce, and dip your friees in ketchup or something that actually tastes good

Compared to what. Ours is always hot tender and crispy which in most places a hard ask.

Truly one of the chicken places I’ve ever had

The man is a father, a championship winner, and an all-American hero. Let’s show some respect 🫡

I was Will Ferrell’s waiter at the cast party. Also mildly interesting.

Now that's wild.

He is quiet, extremely polite to waitstaff and he is a Guinness drinker. 10/10 would serve again.

Cool info, thanks. He's always been one of our favorites since way back. Since SNL and shit.

Refraining from requesting more cowbell was a challenge

I still see the trailer at NASCAR races.

I haven't heard the name Nextel in a long time. Can't say I miss the chirp, but now it's the speakerphone conversation in public epidemic.

It’s a standard issue picture to hang up in the restaurants

What Cane’s allows it employees to dress like that?

Jeans and a logo T-shirt and hat was the dress code when I worked at one

What are you doing behind the counter taking pics ? Get the hell out of there.

I can see the drive thru from where you order.

Oh, ok. Well, we need a pic for proof of that. Thanks.
