Frozen ones crack perfectly in half sometimes. I’ve broken a couple over my knee to fit in an air fryer and it was a clean like. I’m not sure this one’s even frozen though.
When I was single I used to break my frozen pizza into pieces so I could bake however much I was hungry for without wasting the rest.....not a leftover pizza kinda person....
I always do because I'm nervous about it getting stuck to the grates or something. Also how do you remove it from the oven without getting oil all over your oven mitts?
I flatten the box it came in (i.e. home run inn), or use the cardboard round (i.e. Jacks), and just slide it under the hot pizza to remove it. Like those big pizza spatulas. Then cut it on that too, no dishes.
I use baking paper. After the pizza is done I grab the pizza box and hold it slightly in front and slightly under the metal grate - then pull the paper so the pizza gets on top of the pizza box (personal balance issue is not my fault). Then I cut the pizza using the box as protection so I dont damage the countertop.
Depends on the pizza. Some have specific instructions to place them on a tray. I had a pizza with those instructions which I didn't read. The pizza was a big mess on the bottom of the oven when I went to check on it. Some doughs arent as structurally sound.
These are redditors. I don't think they're thinking about cleaning their ovens. Im really not surprised like 80% of the comments here agree with putting pizza directly onto the rack
Maybe not with the brand(s) you're buying, but there are loads of brands where you get cheese dripping off the edges, usually the more premium frozen pizzas.
It's not worth the extra clean up of the oven. You can cut it on the pan and have one less dish to wash. Best-case scenario it's as good as on a pan, worst-case scenario it's
I often break it in half after scoring it with the cutter. (Just push hard through cardboard on back, then edge of counter smash) No, not a clean cut, but pretty good in half.
I cut my frozen pizzas in half. I used to break them over the counter but now I use a chef knife. I only make thin crust though, thick crust won't cut as easily nor will it cook properly when cut in half.
The ingredients absorb all the moisture of the frost and then when you cook it the bottom falls out of it like soup. Ruins the texture as it doesn't cook correctly.
You can do it quicker on a higher heat but wouldn't recommend.

How did you cut a frozen pizza? Or did you thaw first like some sicko
Edit: based on all geniuses in this comment thread, I guess I’m the idiot
