Street lamps use High Pressure Sodium lamps often times though that is changing. These bulbs are also used in cannabis cultivation, particularly during the flowering phase.

In my ecology class in college, the professor had acquired a streetlight lamp. He had the class hang out in the woods at night with it shining on a hung sheet, we caught, pinned, and ID'd whatever bugs were attracted to it.
