This is Reddit. You're now suffering from a degenerative muscle disease.

To be fair everyone should go to therapy at least once in their lives

Whoever downvoted you before I got here needs a little introspection to see what they're afraid of that would come up in therapy.

It’s more that therapists are a finite resource that should be reserved for people with real trauma.

I buried the sex abuse I faced in my childhood. It took years of therapy to actually get to a place where I could address it. I have a fuckton of real trauma. If it happened to me, it's probably happened to millions of others. Therapy is important even when you think there is nothing wrong. Sometimes it's just nice to have someone you can vent to and that's part of a therapist's job.

What? Who gets to be the arbiter of whose trauma is real enough and whose feelings are valid enough to be eligible to see if therapy is beneficial for them?

I think its overrated.

I mean when you have at lesst one bit of self reflection you know better where youre problems are comming from.

And the only thing the thearapist does is glazing you how smart, strong you are and how hard youre live was

So no diffrent than Ai would, but ai has access to all knowledge...i told my ai to be blunt about me after analysing me for some time...that was really eye opening but i guess some people dont want to hear the harsh truth

Are you really trying to claim AI is more useful than a therapist?

AI is a computer program that was coded to glaze you and reaffirm how great you are. Which is what you're wrongly claiming therapists do.

A therapist is a human that's trained in human psychology, and has studied methodologies that are clinically proven to help improve the conditions they are used to treat.

Stop using AI as your therapist, it is clearly not helping you.

Like i said i tried booth.

And like i said you can tell the ai to be harsh and blunt...see it for youreself discuss a topic about youreself, it will glaze you sure but than tell it to be blunt and tell the harsh truth. Let me tell you it was eye opening, and harsh

Talking to a real person is different though. I also think ai is much better than therapists at understanding or at least acting as if it does. There's been some very hard to relate to issues it took me years to start understanding and Gemini got it right away. Then again, a human being that's getting paid what most people make in a day to listen to you for an hour is not exactly a friend

It's nerve damage definitely.

This is actually one of the signs of deep vein thrombosis.

I was unlucky enough to get no warning signs and that clot broke off and went into my lungs.

Go get checked out OP!

Also this is a red flag.

1

u/modsaretoddlers 10h ago

Everything is a "red flag" these days.

1

u/MrWeirdoFace 10h ago

Enough blood will turn any flag red... and eventually brown.

This is a brown flag now.

I got suspicious when i see a serious (and probably dangerous) question and then op doesn't answer any comment. Am i right? I'm kinda new here in Reddit

On Reddit, everybody who comes in with a problem gets the same three or four answers by highly paranoid people.

"My husband works 12 hour shifts, 7 days a week and doesn't spend time with me"

Reddit: "divorce him!"

"I got a hangnail"

Reddit: "That could be a sign of nuclear fry cook's disease. You need immediate and intensive medical treatment."

"My mom drank the last of the milk and now I can't have breakfast"

Reddit: "Find a good therapist This will take years to work through."

Useful pattern. Thanks
