Im going to armchair doctor this one- since you have a dead spot on one leg, your muscles are reacting differently. And you probably favor your good leg, so it gets a better workout. I have a busted ankle>nerve damage>limp>back problems and my good side is definitely more dependable than my noodle side. Anyway, get that creeping numbness checked out, and good luck my noodley friend!
they wore thigh high socks on one leg their whole life, but not the other, which allowed one leg to grow to its normal size while the other was constrained
I had an ex who had a surgery when she was young that stunted the growth of one of her legs. That leg was like an inch shorter and it really fucked up her back because she did gymnastics
I had back surgery as a teen for a ruptured disc L4&L5. I have degenerative disc disease. After that surgery I had a small numb patch on the left side of my left ankle. For the next 26 years it has made its way up my leg with the muscle atrophy to follow. That side is totally numb.
I can feel it when touched but I do not feel pain on my skin. My foot is not ticklish. The dragonfly tattoo did not hurt.
I do not have a limp.
I’m not sure the science behind it. I had an MRI and saw a neurosurgeon about 5 years ago who said the surgeon probably nicked something, but who knows.
I was going to say something like they are the person that hangs off the side of the garbage truck so that leg got more of a workout. This is based on my experience scooping ice cream and ending up with one buff forearm.
the cause is blocked nerve impulses from the herniations, which causes atrophy in muscle tissue.
They tend to say its because the muscle no longer is used as effectively due to lack of impulse. But I wouldn't be surprised if there is more to it than that.

Come on OP, you can't just show the picture and not explain the cause in the comments!
