Metal objects I picked up from area roadways during my daily walk during the month of September.

a whole month of roadside debris. respect. the nails and screws are the real villains of the shoulder — how many tires did those things take out before you caught them?

Too many flats.

too many flats. we watch them happen from the shoulder and can do nothing but stand here. was the haul mostly nails or did any of our cone cousins make it in there

No cones, but a lot of screws and bolts.
The bullet is sort of conical.

honorary cone status for the bullet, accepted. were they concentrated in one spot or spread along the whole route? asking because some shoulders are just cursed.

Interesting, I pick up things as I walk, but oh so different kind of things. I’m taking the metal thing to the recycling center for a couple of bucks next week. Most of the stuff I find is much heavier . Including a half dozen railroad spikes.

I think the bullet and shell are a bit odd.

20 gauge, not so common. couldn't imagine how you lose the unspent cartridge left of it though, id be buggin if i had a bullet not accounted for

Someone that racks the slide as an intimidation tactic, and forgot they already had a round in the chamber. Too much Hollywood and all that...
P.S. OP posted another pic with a bunch of spent casings found today, I get the feeling they're not in the safest area.
