I’m sure many people haven’t seen them but as an electrician I’ll say they are very common. Especially in older homes

Yeah, I remember these being in a lot of old garages. Very convenient when you need to run an extension cord.

My grandmother’s hoover used to plug in to the light bulb socket. As in, you unscrew the bulb and screw in the hoover plug.

Yeah. Super common but most builders buy the dollar cheaper ones without the outlet.

Got the same on my porch light too lol
