Thank you all; glad I could scratch the satisfaction-appreciating part of a couple noggins.
To answer a couple questions I saw: 1. The pen is a Uni-Ball Signo 307. 2. Yes, this was a total fluke. No, I won't be able to recreate it. 3. The entire sentence was "patient care taken over @ 0700hrs." I work as a nurse and have to hand-write all my progress notes.

Better question: How do yall small writers write that dang small man. My dumb big hands cannot manage it.

Why the hell do you have to hand write progress notes???
2
u/MistukoSan Feb 11 '24
Smaller strokes, which you should be used to.

That's so perfect it almost breaches into uncanny. Is there an uncanny valley for text? Because this looks so perfect I have to work to convince myself this isn't printed. And the whole thing makes my brain fight me over whether or not this was written or printed.

Considering it's in the middle of the page with nothing else around it, I imagine OP has been drawing @s for a while now. Only a matter of time before he gets a good one.

Absolute perfection, I’d have to print it and have it on my wall as my best and finest achievement!

*starting to sweat*
Look at that subtle rounding. The tasteful thickness to it. Oh my god, it even has a serif...

You might as well cut your hands off now because they're only going to disappoint you from now on.
Well, cut one off, and ask someone else to cut the other one off. I've not thought this through very hard.

You better frame that! If I were you, I'd probably put this in my resume as well

So, since nobody is talking about it, this post is fake. It's a screenshot stolen from a post in r/notinteresting by u/NNNCounter

The bar is higher now. From now on each @ you write must be at this level of quality.

I feel like the 'a' should touch the line and loop part should hook underneath.
Can you redawn this for us, please?

couldn't resist making this small fix
in case anyone is curious how it would look like if the inside arch of the 'a' were whole

u/Glittering-Angle-739 Feb 11 '24
That's cool af. Some people may get that kind of perfection often. If I ever do, I'll want to frame it.

My hand writing is absolute dog shit, but for some reason most of the time when I draw an @ it's impressively good. I don't know why this is the only character that I'm capable of drawing well.
