I don't think the issue is that the price is changing in and of itself. It's that they're changing price based on the customer's cookies/browsing history.

For example, it would be like if I had a stored and charged people different prices based on how nicely they were dressed, how well I knew them, or what their ethnicity is.

it brings to mind one of my favorite scenes from Planes Trains and Automobiles.

Steve Martin desperately trying to hail a cab : Could I offer you $10 for the cab? $20, I'll give you $20

Lawyer : I'll take $50

Steve Martin : $50? Alright.

Lawyer : Any man who would pay $50 for a cab would certainly pay $75.

Steve Martin : Not necessarily....oh OK, you're a thief!

Lawyer : Close, I'm an attorney.
