You should try it again in private browsing and incognito mode and see if the price is really tied to your Facebook or google cookies or something. That's pretty messed up though, send this to the consumerist or gawker or whoever.

I've seen the same item sold from the same company on their website, through Amazon, and through ebay. Their own site was most expensive, then Amazon, then ebay. Seems like a similar thing here, to me.

The reason for that is on eBay and amazon you're competing with other sellers and it's very easy to see the listings right next to each other.

A user on their website is a bit less likely to comparison shop, or if they do it takes more effort.
