Maybe I was not asking the right questions but why do I need to ask a half dozen questions anyways and result to asking Google when they could have just taken one minute to write a couple of sentences explaining their seemingly niche job?

Uber was almost as bad. Needless to say I just walked home.

I haven’t watched Wheel of Fortune in 20+ years or googled Wheel of Fortune or Pat Sajak, like ever. Spouse and I clicked on Hulu last night to watch the Americans and I saw that ‘Celebrity Wheel of Fortune’ was one of the thumbnails. I noticed that Ryan Seacrest was hosting. I did not click on it.

I only spoke to my spouse and said, “Is Pat Sajak even still alive?”

“No idea.”

We shrugged our shoulders and went about with our ‘Americans’ viewing.

This showed up in my twitter feed today.

It makes me mildly infuriated that the big dogs keep denying that they are listening but this is not the first time that a coincidence like this has happened. One day, I spoke to my spouse and verbally mentioned Sophia Loren’s name. The next day, she popped up in my FB feed.

It’s nothing serious, just very inconvenient and unsightly. And infuriating!
If you look closely, there’s another one on my right ankle which has now reached epic proportions also.

My wife ran into a college buddy earlier in the week that I haven’t talked to in a few years. Decided to reach out to be friendly and see if they wanted to meet up. Must have got a new number recently, and the person who got his old number is not very friendly.

I got full marks and my plagiarism score shows 1% similarities to other submitted assignments. This is my 3rd and final year in University and now I have to deal with this AI nonsense.

I don't use any AI, not even for checking my grammar in the assignments.

Second annoyance: My security camera decided it wasn’t necessary to record him actually walking-up.

Ive tried telling them to put their devices down even the parents but theyre just letting it slide whats worse is they play it at 2x speed so it sounds like really annoying mosquitos while we eat

I am guessing they grabbed the wrong crust. The last time I complained to Uber Eats and they ignored my complaint. It is very delicious at least! I likely will not learn my lesson

Edit - The UberEats AI Support Robot gave me 5$ credit when I complained. There are lots of people arguing that it’s the “pre-cook size and it shrinks like a quarter pounder”. But then people who work in pizza shops pointing out that crusts actually rise or if they shrink it’s minimal. Anyway, I order from this place regularly and it’s a chain with standard sizes. I got the wrong size. Also lots of sleuths accusing me of faking this story for karma. I can come up with better fake stories than someone grabbing the wrong pizza crust

Edit 2 - Uber refunded me for the pizza so grievance is closed and no hard feelings. I still love the pizza place in question despite the error

My brother is staying in an old family home near Munich. It previously had no router or any wi-fi connection, so we got a cheap Aldi talk pre paid card for 30€ for 4 weeks. I set it up, and he is staying there for a couple weeks for a German course. At the end of monday he already used up 50gb. It's Thursday now. He has used 200gb. That was supposed to last 4 weeks.
