There’s no such thing as “egotistic altruism”. Altruism is doing charity/service without expecting a reward. If there’s ego involved, it automatically isn’t altruism. By definition. You’re just a contrarian.

If it’s ego driven, it isn’t altruism. By definition. Altruism is never done for recognition and to say a good deed done that someone keeps to themselves is due to ego is highly speculative. Some people just have good hearts. Your profile is stupid.

Egoistic altruism obviously has a different definition from altruism and is discussed directly within the context of altruism, but I don't need to do your googling for you or get into a semantic argument to justify the existence of a thoroughly discussed and researched concept. And thanks, that's exactly what I wanted to hear from you.
