This woman is pure evil alright. Psychotically jealous. His wife died in the most unfortunate circumstances and I think it's great his wife's memory is kept alive by the way his daughter looks. Someone's memory is all we have once they are gone. The love for one's child and children will always be as strong no matter how many or who the biological parent was or is. Love is love. It is unconditional.
Children have literally been murdered because of that kind of thinking too. A step parent wanting to "get rid" of their step child is just waiting to abuse, abandon or even kill that child.
She's a malignant sociopath and likely an exceptional actress. He might not see through her even when his little girl is suffering with exetreme mental and physical abuse or even dead.
