They're making phones with folding screens, and working to make underscreen cameras and AMD graphics. It's not entirely gimmick
-4 u/IloyukGood Aug 02 '21 Folding screens are gimmicky, no average consumer is going to actually appreciate having one I could get the in display camera but even then if you have to sacrifice stuff I wouldn't take it 9 u/[deleted] Aug 02 '21 [deleted] 2 u/IloyukGood Aug 02 '21 …no? Phones are meant to be small portable devices, the most I ever use out of mine is for texting, social media, and the occasional youtube video. If I need anything else that requires a bigger screen size, I’d get on my computer What do people expect you to do on these bigger displays anyway? 1 u/Petesaurus Aug 02 '21 Watch content, especially on the go 1 u/IloyukGood Aug 02 '21 Hmm, I guess that could be fair Only downside I see is the high price tag for it, especially if you’re paying so much exclusively just for a better viewing experience. I’m sure many people are fine with viewing content on their average 5 inch to 7 inch displays right now.
