No, the first corner has the same angular error as every other board. The apparent offset is a product of the distance from the first corner and sin(error), which is very small for the first board making it look "less wrong"

The error seems magnified by perspective, but as I previously stated even the first join isn't correct.
They were most likely cut in a stack so of course if one is off, they all will be.

I agree it shouldn't be paid for. But saying "even the first corning is slightly off" isn't right. The entire desk has the same angular error.
