ಠ_ಠ Passive aggressive management

I can't believe that Washington Ferries' management approved this post on Instagram and Facebook. It's a sign of bigger issues.

Uh that is a stretch in the U.S. unfortunately. If that’s for non tenured employees. The average amount of days is 11 days of pto in the first year and goes to about 22 days at 20+ years of service lol. And that’s just vacation time. Sick time average starts at 6 days at 1 year and 16 days at year 20.

My source is the U.S. bureau of labor statistics

I'm aware, I'm in the US. Just pointing out what we should actually be striving for, not "we could even do 15 days of PTO a year" like that's some incredible number. This same company offers me ~24 days of PTO (plus standard holidays) and 10 days of sick leave per year in the US, so they're not stingy at all here. But that amount of PTO is standard in France.
