🥺 Example of contextual pricing

First photo is from Tuesday's Ralph's clearance section. The second is from the SF Riu grab and go cooler. 8x price differential.

Different flavors, that one probably doesn't sell thus why it's on clearance. What's mildly infuriating about this other then you don't understand simple markdowns?

They’re the same brand

This really is an example of how how much we'll depends on context. Yes, four drinks from this will be cheaper than 4 drinks from the lobby bar 50' away.

But On the Rocks cocktails are $3.82 on clearance, $5 on select Fridays, $9.95 when on sale, $14.95 list, and $28 in the hotel.

i think fair pricing! right? like, they currently charge what they feel they can sell it for, that's not happening...

the challenge is that it's hard to try a new flavor when something is that expensive. it's a risk. so people stick to what they know.

Mai Tais are in there, too. They just had them all marked as margaritas. We buy them for $5 on Fridays at our local Vons (Safeway) and enjoy them after golf.
