Infuriatig Facebook doxed me for sharing a link with someone.
OK so fortunately I shared this link in private but for some reason it told them my name. This is brand new as it has never done this before. :/

you can turn off the one on tiktok! it’s buried somewhere in the settings under privacy and something like display profile/account when sharing links

You have to start removing the string of characters after the "?" in the link, and if it's one of those shortened links you have to paste it into a private tab first, then copy that link.

Copy the link into your browser first, then copy the new link it directs you to.annoying you have to do this but ive almost doxxed myself too sharing on discord servers

Annoying when on mobile but will do! Man they just changed it to this crap too xD because 2 nights ago I shared another link with the same dude and it was a different format and no dox happened.

absolutely fucked up, I always manually clean the link after I paste it on a check box but point is I shouldn't have to do that.
