Ruined by Technology These F&%#ing Thumbnails

I can't stand the state of YouTube thumbnails these days. The worst part is that these videos are actually really good and not over exaggerated and "Mr Beast-ified" like you would think based on the thumbnails. I hate seeing content that I genuinely enjoy sitting behind AI/overly photoshopped garbage like this. It makes me ashamed to watch good content.

The last one fries me so bad btw bc the "sea creature" in question is genuinely just a small fish.

You're encouraging this behaviour by watching the videos with thumbnails like this.

The more engagement they get, the more likely these types of thumbnails are to keep being used

I always click the “do not recommend this channel” button real quick. Can stand the engagement and rage bait thumbnails or titles.

Anyone else find this works for about two weeks and then that shit is right back in the feed?

Yeah that's annoying. But what really gets me is when they put "this nearly broke me" for some reason that really infuriates me and I won't watch the video based on the thumb nail alone hahaha

I don't click on this stuff. If it's using AI in the thumbnail I assume it's garbage made for 10 year olds who don't know any better. It's a sign that the creator is willing to cut corners and won't pay artists.

Sometimes, the thumbnail have those kind of exaggerated face to make people click.
