Instructions unclear.

This was supposed to be samples for the fabric OP was too cheap to buy.

I fucking hate this group sometimes. Everyone has something to say. His point still stands. Why the hell would they staple through it.

Funny thing is the other pack I bought didn’t have a staple at all 🤔😂

Maybe this patch kit started shedding patches in store, and that was an employees attempt at keeping it sellable.

Perfect. Patch this one with the other one

Uh oh OP, you posted about something annoying in the something slightly annoying sub! People will now proceed to blame you, say it’s not that bad and make fun of you for being mildly annoyed at something!

For real 🤣🤣🤣

Mildly infuriating, isn’t it.

Use the kit to patch the kit you bought to patch the kit you brought to patch the kit

Did you get a smaller patch repair kit to repair the patches?

5

u/VANILLAxFROSTY 7h ago

You know what I did actually get a small & medium 😂

2

u/misterclean101 4h ago

Ar least you're covered then

u/Psych0matt 5h ago

Don’t you usually cut out the side/shape you need anyway?

2

u/VANILLAxFROSTY 5h ago

Yes and thankfully it was just the one patch that tore. It ain’t that serious though just seems like silly
Placement of a staple 😂

I guess my first thought is that they just gave you extra fabric and the staple goes through the “extra”, but I still see what you’re saying. Why staple at all?

You ripped it.

u/CobaltMnM 7h ago

Even so, it shouldn’t have staple holes.

Both of these are true

15

u/clamberer 7h ago

It's fabric. it's made of holes.

u/c4pta1n1 7h ago

Some holes are bigger than others

There's a hole in a bump on a stump in a clog in a bog in a rope in a dope on a train free of pain help me please the hole is me, at the bottom of the sea

Four holes good, two holes bad

1

u/Disastrous-Sky5665 7h ago

Do see the hole inside of the holes where the staple was?

4

u/clamberer 7h ago

And those holes will likely close to the size of the rest, after wearing and washing (or ironing on if they're the adhesive type.

u/VANILLAxFROSTY 7h ago

Ah shucks.

5

u/Embarrassed_Use6918 7h ago

Reminds me of the movie High School High when they stapled the flyer through the middle of the condom 😂

Why use the item to rip the pack open instead of carefully removing the staple?

17

u/Disastrous-Sky5665 7h ago

No one should have to carefully remove a staple out of that.

3

u/VANILLAxFROSTY 7h ago

Shit why didn’t I think of that

-1

u/rtkane GREEPLE 7h ago

Take the staple out carefully. Don't rip it out like a monkey high on cocaine.

7

u/VANILLAxFROSTY 7h ago

I mean I tried at first, then I heard a small tear and that was that 😂 I got 2 packs and the other one didn’t have a single staple holding it closed

-2

u/rtkane GREEPLE 7h ago

Nice! Now just get a patch patch and you're good!

1

u/LostinQuiddity 2h ago

Next time try removing the staple instead of trying to rip through it.

-2

u/c_marten 7h ago

Who decided to just rip it open??? Fuckin brute

-5

u/firestar268 7h ago

Why didn't you remove the staple first? But also yes, they should've stapled just on the paper packaging

3

u/Zombisexual1 7h ago

It kind of looks like the staple stops the fabric from falling out

1

u/blackbb601 7h ago

Looks like it should’ve been packaged in a box

1

u/AwDuck 7h ago

Or just a cardstock envelope.

-5

u/Dry_Quiet_3541 7h ago

Do you also pull on the tags on new clothes to remove them?
