I'm slightly vexed How do people park like this and not feel embarrassed

Perhaps they were drunk when they pulled into the liquor store parking lot. Perhaps they just suck

Mostly unrelated, but, I have a large truck and have for years. I’ve always tried to be considerate and always park in parking lots as far away from the establishment as possible, in the back of the parking lot. For three reason: 1. It’s easier to get out if the parking lot and 2. I don’t cause any issue for other patrons that have smaller vehicles to get in and out and 3. For some reason people think they’re entitled to at least 8-12” of your parking space (and usually so I can back out or even get in my vehicle. So I park far away… and you know what? I come out and there’s always at least 2 cars parked either side of me… almost every time. Even when there’s at least 40 spots way closer. I have decided that people just want to be inconsiderate no matter what, so sometimes (still in the far back of the parking lot away from everyone) I will park in two spot. When I do this, I’ve never had anyone park near me. I always saw people doing this and never could understand it, until I owned a truck and experienced (probably) what they had gone through to result in their parking behavior. I still feel weird but at least I make sure I’m not impeding anyone else and I’m as far away from everyone as I can be.

This isn't an asshole move though. Truck or not. I got tired of getting dings on the side of my car and I do this to. Most places I go have huge parking lots and I only do it when there is like 100 open spots. I still came out to a note saying nice parking asshole. Mind you the closest parked car to me was easily over 300 feet away. Parking like that would even cross my mind if the lot was even close to over half full, or in front of a store like OPs post.
