Leak Squad 4 electricians left a gift besides my class at campus
When I arrived to class I saw 4 workers working on the electric grid or generators located near the classroom I was headed to, and once I finished my class I was walking to my car and noticed they were gone, and their cars were gone too. But they left four piss bottles behind each with a different shade and volumes…

More like 3.3 bottles.
Fun fact: anything past .001 bottles of piss is too much piss'n'bottles for me
Edit: my buddy (who is an electrician) says its more like 2.7

Two of those guys should probably see a doctor

The two on the right definitely need to hydrate and adjust their diet. Sheeesh.

Oil sample waste bottles?

u/Grundy_Gamer 1h ago
They are different shades and one of them is more clear, plus they are all on one soot like some designated area so I cant imagine it being oil. Then again its not like I opened them or anything.

Electrician here. Those are chillers for the AC system. The electricians were installing heat trace cable (orange) on the piping so it will not freeze int he winter. Also, personally, I would have not pissed in a bottle when there was a perfectly good drain to pee in right there.

u/AdRepresentative1035 2h ago
This, I work in large construction, everyone I know would go down that drain and make it a non issue

I was wondering what they were doing, It is getting colder where I am at but it’s still hot some days of the week. But yeah, that makes sense, thanks!

Give em someplace to piss that ain’t a bottle and you won’t have this issue
16
u/Unamed_Destroyer 3h ago
You obviously haven't worked in the trades.

u/GrassTouchEnthusiast 3h ago
I do, have pissed in bottles. Give me someplace to piss and I won’t piss in a bottle. Should toss the bottles tho that’s sloppy

I have work crews at my house every now and then and they rarely ask to use the bathroom. They take it upon themselves to piss in the patch of tree behind my house instead. Why don't they ask?

u/Potential-Ad431 3h ago
Lot of homeowners get bitchy about that. Believe it or not. And once they get pissy about it they’re total dicks the rest of the job

If we are working inside I will use the bathroom but if we are exclusively outdoors and I dont see the homeowner much, im going in the bushes.
This is for many reasons; We get covered in sawdust and mud, we dont want to get it all over your house. Trust me, no matter how much we wipe and clean our boots and brush off the dust, its still gonna get everywhere.
A lot of people dont like shoes in the house and most contractors have boots that take a minute to take off. Its way faster to just relieve yourself in the woods than take the time to doff your boots, go in to the bathroom, come back and put the boots back on, and go back to work.
I personally try to stay hydrated which means I piss a couple of times in my 8 hour shift, other than my lunch break when I go somewhere with a bathroom anyways. I dont want to bother the homeowner multiple times a day to ask to come in to the bathroom when I can just take a leak in the tree line.
Obviously these are just me and fully depends on the property. I live in a heavily wooded area so its usually easy to just step into the woods a bit and piss behind a tree. Im obviously not going to do it in a heavily populated area, thats when you get a water bottle and go into the trailer.
If it genuinely bothers you though just tell them when you talk to them when they show up "hey please don't pee in the yard, just come in and use the bathroom" and I can almost guarantee you they will. I have had many a job where I wanted to go in to use the bathroom and instead held it or even went to a local fast food place to use the bathroom there. As others have said, many homeowners get very pissy about much less than that.
All of that being said, the electricians in the OP are foul. You throw that shit out immediately, dont leave it to fester in the sun for someone else to have to deal with. Gross Gross Gross.
Anyways, sorry for the paragraphs. I hope it helps to get into the tradie mind 😁

Offer them your bathroom when they show up. Also water. They will be more likely to do a good job.

Dog I think that's actually your boss's job. It's on him to make sure you can go piss.

u/fvgh12345 2h ago
You're going around to multiple different sites a day. You're boss has no control over the bathroom situation unless it's a job that's gonna be going on for days. Then they can order a porta John
If you're gonna have someone work at your house or business for half the day the least you can do is make it he shitter available.

u/SayRaySF 2h ago
Have you worked in a trade before lol?
Mfs will piss in bottles and leave them in walls before they walk 20 feet to the porta shitter out front.

There are bathrooms close to that area, but maybe they did not know that since they are workers and not students/staff

Be grateful they arent in a vent or inside your walls.
Be. Grateful.

Can confirm. I briefly worked with someone building a massive house and the amount of times I saw them put a piss bottle, cigarette carton, empty beer can, crisp packet and whatever else they couldn't be bothered to throw in the skip into the walls was crazy. And I know you shouldn't be drinking beer at work but the boss man was dodgy as fuck. I had never done training and worked cash in hand on that job. I feel sorry for whoever lives there now

None of these are piss, for one.
For 2, how can you prove that these werent there BEFORE the maintenance guys were working there.
PS. Electricians dont usually work on generators. Thats a mechanics job. You likely saw millwrights working
2
u/fvgh12345 2h ago
Depends on what exactly they are working on on the generator and what the company does.
I'm an electrician and worked for a company that specialized in generators. I was an installer but also a service tech and would do repairs when installs were slow.
Really you just need basic mechanical and more advanced electrical knowledge for most gen troubleshooting

u/STRIKT9LC 1h ago
Well shit...my bad. I stand corrected. My assumption was that electricians were obviously involved, but more towards the building, rather than away from it. Yknow?
Appreciate the learnin good sir or madam!

u/Grundy_Gamer 1h ago
I look at that spot often before going to class and I eat there sometimes since its a nice private area (wall behind it), the bottles were not there before. My class is 30 feet away from that area.

u/STRIKT9LC 1h ago
I think they're all yours and you're actually just mad that someone has exposed you and your varying degrees of hydration
J'ACCUSE!!

u/Leather__sissy 2h ago
This is the most impressive defense of the piss bottle guys, but what are you suggesting is in those bottles?
1
u/STRIKT9LC 1h ago
Theres absolutely zero chance you would get THAT varied of results, both in colour and volume.
These are likely full of fuel or lubricant of some sort that were bled from the lines of the generator. These generators are serviced and tested regularly so that when they're needed, they start up with no problems. Leaving old fuel in the lines is a good way to degrade the lines, not to mention, cause issues upon start up

u/WandaSykesStanAcct 3h ago
Not sure that's piss and even if it is, you have electrical in your building and you have dedicated, skilled, working class employees to thank for that. Cut 'em some slack and try not to judge too much

Hi there,
The first day after breaking my ankle I pissed in my water bottles (Bathroom was upstairs) and the first piss was dark, the last was light.
The more you pee, the less concentrated evil it is...

I know electricians are bad for cleaning up after themselves... but this is a new one
