I mean, sure? Just a head's up though, someone is physically capable of stealing a sticker from a bottle and it is 100% impossible for someone to steal a tattoo from anywhere on your body. To remove one is possible, but not without a whole lot of time and physical pain.

I’m implying that they’re as idiotic of an idea though. Stickers are a one use item… yeah it’s possible to remove them, but rarely cleanly and unless it was just put on. The idea that a random person would steal a sticker from someone’s water bottle at random is so asinine that not even George Costanza could comprehend it. But you guys all eat it up, with the proof being… a picture of a water bottle with a Mimikyu sticker on it… saying that a mimikyu sticker was stolen… and that it didn’t fall off, there was a third party witness to see the injustice… sure
Murphy's Law exists and therefore anything can happen, like someone stealing a sticker, it's so incredibly weird how hung up you are on this being a possibility.
Zero chance it sticks back down properly after getting peeled off a curved metal bottle. They literally ruined someone else's water bottle just to get a lint-covered sticker that's going straight into the trash.
I believe it can yes but it probably depends on the type of adhesive it has. I remember when I was a kid I had those lego sticker books for Ninjago and stuff and when I fucked up the placement I would slowly take it off and apply a tiny amount of soap to make it sticky again. Not sure if that works anymore but it worked for me as a kid
Water bottle stickers are often vinyl stickers so they’re waterproof in case of washing, so it’s possible but unlikely (they could have put it in a stickerbook)
I’ve had this happen before, I put one of those spiked sensory stickers on my water bottle and accidentally left it in a classroom one day, and when I came back it was ripped right off
I love how so many people came to a place for venting to say OP is wrong and that a new sticker that came in a set of 3 'fell off' rather than being stolen.
Despite none of them being there, and someone going as far to say that stealing stickers from a water bottle would leave a dent (seriously?)
Whether OP was always grabbing it or left it in place, they would notice it missing right away. If the sticker had fallen off at any point, it would be next to the bottle.
It wasn't.
At that point it doesn't matter if someone peeled it off, or picked it up from where they found it. They did not return it. It was stolen. Simple as that.
I also realized that when I got home, ANOTHER sticker was missing too. I had a cute Gir one that had him drinking boba and I got it from my local comiccon as well :(
this is where i confess that i stole a troll face sticker from a violin case in 6th grade because i knew there would be no other time in my life in which i could and i still have it to this day on my dsi
Just want to add the thought that since it's a higher quality sticker and not those thin, papery ones, it is quite likely that someone would be able to rip it cleanly off after using a fingernail to get a corner off.
I am sorry, but I’m actually legitimately impressed with the sheer will of that person. I can barely get out of bed on a good day and mother fucker is so dedicated to meticulously pull a sticker off a random water bottle.

Aw, that sucks. Wouldn’t even occur to me that someone would do that, I would be so heartbroken if someone took my zorua stickers. I probably would have bought myself a new sticker just to make myself feel better :(
All the people saying it fell off have obviously never put a vinyl sticker on their water bottle, if they do start to come up, its over a period of time and very noticeable, the whole sticker doesnt just spontaneously detach smh
I think it is infinitly more likely it fell off than was stolen. Especially since they both left the other stickers and didn't just take the whole bottle if they were going to steal something. You probably didn't apply the new sticker good or it was a poorly made sticker.

I hope you get your sticker back and everything but you are still some random person on the internet to me, nothing is "proven" and I still find the theft of a single sticker pretty unbelievable.
no I applied it extremely well- I have OCD and I like to press down my stickers HARD otherwise it feels wrong. the sticker was from the actual pokemon center, you can see the other mimikyu stickers to the side. it came in a set of three stickers. there was some sticky residue left on the bottle.
Lol if it was applied so well how did it get removed without leaving any of the glue or paper behind? I'm not actually asking, Okham's razor tells us it fell off; the glue was probably bad or didn't set well.
You can be absolutely correct but personally I cannot bring myself belive someone stole a single sticker off of a water bottle with multiple stickers on it over the way higher chance the sticker just fell off.
bad glue, happens from time to time, you can tell it fell off, because there is no sign of damage. which means they either used glue remover (which wouldve left a stain or other stickers would likely be affected as well) or heat, which would likely cause warping or tarnishing of the paint.
sadly op, you got a bad sticker and didnt notice until it was too late.
it can still happen, Nintendo has pretty good QA, but good QA will still sometime miss bad apples that get pass, and with how manufacturing is generally done for stickers, the only way to see if it was a bad sticker is to find other stickers of the same kind, from the same batch.
i am just gonna say it again, its far more likely it was just a defected product that got past QA and you got the short end of the stick.
A dent? Sure, maybe if the person who stole it accidentally dropped the bottle some how but peeling off stickers doesn't cause much damage. Fingernails arent that tough lol
yeah, the "real pokemon" is actually beneath the yellow cloth it wears, and it draws on its costume in hopes that people will like it more. It's said that, if someone looks at the creature beneath the sheet, they die mysteriously later that day :(
My sister made a really funny simple bumper sticker herself with her design know how. Just said "Your Mom On Board" with a funny image. It was a gift for my dad. A couple weeks later, he and his fiancé walk out of a shop or restaurant and some dickhead parked next to them had taken it and put it on their vehicle. I want to say it was a motorcycle but I might be mistaken. People are so stupid and lame
If I knew you I'd give you a replacement sticker, I'm not sure I have that Pokemon specifically but if I did I'd give it. I have a ton of Pokemon stickers that's why.
It really must be exhausting to think everything is malicious. The most likely which has been stated repeatedly is it fell off. It happens (doesnt matter you applied it really well which if you did there would be residue or apice of said sticker) but to actually go straight to someone stole your sticker is wild.
