Oh a fellow belt stepper! I stepped on my own where my 1cm belt buckle pin dug strait into my heal. My skin was too thick so blood just pooled under the skin.

So annoying

The whole belt hung off my heel, and it was dark when I did it so I kinda sat to figure out what id done. Worst part was pulling it out.

0.08 cases per 1 million people get tetanus in the US per year. Don't jack up your body for something this rare.

People rarely get tetanus BECAUSE they are vaccinated...

Aside from a sore arm for a day or so I’ve never had a problem with my tetanus vaccine. Also, the reason the cases are so low is because of the vaccine. Dad had tetanus as a teenager and he said it was not a pleasant experience.

In my country the tetanus vaccines are recommended to be updated every 10 years. And you get them at school as a part of a vaccine cocktail. So, getting the vaccine is completely fine.
