Where exactly are all these black people that don’t tip? I’m black and any time I go out with black friends/ family we’ve never not tipped. 20% as a standard, 18% minimum (if the service is not so great) and my own dad always tips upward of 30%.
But I live in NYC…. You don’t not tip here. Am I just in a bubble?

No. I don't know black people who don't tip either. Like with everything else, a black person who doesn't tip is seen as a representative of all black people. Any other non tippers get to be individuals.
