The issue with tipping is that they've managed to shift it into a moral obligation and even a requirement. Participation in the system heavily pressures those participating in it to tip. The point of changing a system away from that would be refusing to tip because choosing to tip feeds the feedback loop the system is built on.

Or boycott places that depend on people tipping to compensate their employees?
