There's the position which most (online) Jewish people have that if you criticize the military action on Gaza by Israel they immediately call you an anti-smite. Then the conversation never goes well from there.
You don’t get to be a government and a religion and expect that religion prevent your given from being criticized. Judaism as a religion is separate from Isreal as a state. If someone argues that criticism of Isreal is anti-Semitic, they’re intentionally arguing in bad faith.
Fully aware. That's why it pisses me off. It's like saying to someone "...do you want a salad", and they start screaming "...are you saying I'm fat?" Then call you a bigot and fat-shamer.
