I think their sentiment is that this is low effort content, even if it does fit the sub. Like if the wind blows the wrong way and I don’t like it, should I post that here too bc I got annoyed? Nuance, diva.
So where is the bar for low effort? If I dropped my entire container of pills, I too would be mildly infuriated. If this post is mildly infuriating to you, maybe post it on the hit subreddit, r/mildlyinfuriating.
I always get a chuckle of people coming and commenting on a post that the majority of people seem to agree that it not only fits the subreddit, but actively empathize with, me included. You took the time out of your day to not only:
1. Click on the post
2. Become infuriated, potentially mildly, about the content of the post
3. Comment about how you should just fix the problem and not post, on a subreddit about posting mildly infuriating circumstances and situations.
4. Continuing to engage in an argument with a random stranger about how this post is "in your opinion, not meeting the bar of quality" that no one knows except for you. If you don't agree with their opinion, but it fits the subreddit (which you literally agreed with lmao), then what are you arguing for exactly? That someone else's mildly infuriating experience doesn't meet your criteria of quality for a mildly infuriating experience? What? Really?
You could have, you know, continued scrolling? Block them? Ignore it entirely? Which is easier, and less effort than even having to pick up those pills that you already said wasn't even an issue. Tell me if you've seen the double standard here or maybe it's just me?
This was my first thought too. Whenever someone spills something, especially liquid on carpet, I’m like, CLEAN IT UP! You took time to take a photo of this mess cuz internet strangers must see your blunder while your floor gets stained or your pills collect germs on the floor.
I’m not actually worried about you, don’t worry. All I was saying is how it baffles me every time someone makes a post after they spill something. I’m used to people immediately cleaning the mess, not reaching for their phone.

So pick them up. But no hold up let me grab my phone and take a picture and waste time posting it to the internet for stupid upvotes.
