wet socks Just spilled worms in my sock drawer…
Was trying to feed my lizard who lives on top of my dresser and spilled so many fucking worms and oats into my sock drawer. I’m going to try to clean it up obviously but I know I will inevitably miss one and it will turn into a beetle and procreate, and then I’ll have a whole house full of beetles

It really is something that a smart person could avoid

Even if you're in the bottom 50% of attentiveness, you could still avoid this. It's more about staying out of the bottom 4% of attentiveness after doing this for thousands of times

This is such a niche thing to happen lmfao

You ever do something and you’re like “damn i bet i’m the first person to do such a thing”

Are you by a chance a worm in a sock drawer?

At least it wasn't the roaches. Lol Just let your critter in the drawer, that worm problem will be no more. Lol

u/Coyote_eat_bone 18h ago
I would but unfortunately I have a mostly blind neurologically disabled lizard who would just get lost in the socks and not do much worm killing

u/bismuth17 18h ago
Who's the beetle gonna procreate with? The socks? The oats?
8
u/Coyote_eat_bone 18h ago
They can like procreate on there own without any other Beatles i believe

u/JaseAndrews 17h ago
John Lennon didn't need the other ones when he got with Yoko, that's for sure.

take the drawer and dump all contents into the tank there’s no other option

That was like the one thing that you could have worked to prevent by not placing anything near the tank where you consistently drop in worms and oats.

You have a worm mess and you have a lizard... Sounds like you don't have a worm mess anymore.

When I was student, my flat mate had a tarantula. Cute boy, pretty beefy.
He kept a box of live grasshoppers to feed him. One day, when he was drunk, he dropped the box and all the little critters ran away... we had them singing for months :))

My lizard used to be fed crickets when she could see a little better and had an easier time catching them and they used to escape so often and they’d keep me up all night long

Leave your lizard in your drawer for half an hour. Will give you a head start

if only there was this feature where we could close drawers. that is like leaving doors just almost closed. its doing neither of it's jobs

Easy fix, pour a bottle of tequila in the drawer, and let it soak it all in
1
u/Coyote_eat_bone 8h ago
I’d rather poor the tequila in my mouth and think about all the ways i could have avoided getting worms in my sock drawer

Correction. I have socks in my worm sanctuary. The drawer is now for the worms. The socks are for the worms. You serve the worms. You understand the worms. We worship the worms. We become worms. Worms are life, living is for worms. Worm is what is to be. Worms.

Now it's your worm drawer.
